Sunrise Bushcraft has developed the Sunrise Outdoor Academy to deliver all of our outdoor accredited programmes, and range or courses from several awarding bodies.
The Sunrise Outdoor Academy has grown from the Nature and Outdoor based learning programmes and qualifications offered by our parent company Sunrise Bushcraft Ltd.
In addition to national qualifications and accredited courses for adults we are proud to be able to offer a range of education and qualification based programmes for children and young adults from the age of 5 – 25 yrs old and beyond.
Located on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire we have access to over 1000 acres of woodland where we are able to run our programmes from.
The Sunrise Outdoor Academy works closely with both National and Local government and charities to provide a series of programmes for a range of clients from young offenders and young people at risk through to adults with mental health problems and learning difficulties and disabled children.
Sunrise Academy also focuses on work with schools and colleges across the south east providing a wide range of courses and education programmes.

DEVELOPING A BENCHMARK OF EXCELLENCE FOR OUTDOOR EDUCATION TEACHERS AND TRAINERS
Sunrise Bushcraft has developed a bespoke two day accredited course designed for outdoor education professionals to enhance their existing skills and provide them with additional valuable experience and qualifications in bushcraft, woodland living, wilderness survival and forest skills.
Developed by our professionally qualified instructors, themselves outdoor education professionals, the course will equip you or your teaching staff with additional skills - ensuring professionalism, competency and a new depth of knowledge that you will be able to convey to your students and clients.
The course runs for two days from arrival at 9.30am through to a departure at 3.00pm the following day. On completion of the course attendees may choose to return to attend either the intermediate award over 10 days or our Outdoor Instructor Award over 10 months.
Ideally students will have some prior knowledge of outdoor instruction and bushcraft skills and a reasonable level of fitness. The course includes all hot and cold drinks and a group cooked food meal on the Saturday night.
