Sunrise Bushcraft is the home of bespoke bushcraft courses in the UK specialising in families and children. Our work in the study of Nature Deficit Disorder is well known and we are one of the UK's best known schools specialising in Nature Based Learning. We are able to offer a full programme of activities and are delighted to be an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. In addition to this we are a licensed centre able to offer recognised qualifications in bushcraft for 14-19 year olds through the NCFE level 2 certificate. All our courses are accredited by ASDAN towards GCSE and A Levels and we work closely with local councils and charities to provide courses for families with disabled children and adults with mental health problems or learning difficulties. We also offer tailor made summer and winter adventures to Sweden "The Land of Lakes" traveling in true wilderness allowing our clients to experience the unique serenity of the wild.

Our founder and Senior Instructor James White is delighted to have been accredited as a member of the Institute for Learning ensuring professionalism in all our teaching activities as well as being accepted as a member of European Institute for Outdoor Adventure Education and Experiential learning enabling Sunrise Bushcraft to expand its work in the field of Nature Deficit Disorder and Nature Based Learning and to become a voice in Europe for Bushcraft and outdoor Learning.
Sunrise Bushcraft is delighted to have been awarded status as an ASDAN accredited centre. Our courses will now be accredited by ASDAN towards GCSE, A Level, AS Level and onto further education. This fantastic opportunity allows us to expand our dream of making Bushcraft and Woodland Living skills part of mainstream education. We are already partnered with several national charities and councils to deliver these new programmes.
